Association for Green Energy

The AGE gathers young people with team spirit looking for practical knowledge in field of renewable energy sources. AGE's current project is design, implementation and testing of the Archimedes screw testing station which is just coming to an end. After setting up the Archimedes screw test station in the Faculty of Electical Engineering, Mechanical Enigineering and Naval Architecture (FESB) we will start with testing phase.

MAIN GOALS

Our main goal is promoting green energy systems, acquiring knowledge and experience in the implemetation of green energy systems and regulation, automatic control and system testing. Follow us on our social networks and we will guide you through project development phases, the current state of project and intentions for future research.

FUTURE WORK

After the design and testing of the Archimedes screw testing station, the acquired knowledge and experience will be used to make the small hydroelectric power plant MAHE FESB on the river Jadro.

Association for Green Energy

The Association was founded in 2017. with six active members. The founding of the Association was a logical continuation of the work of a group of friends who saw the importance of renewable energy sources during their undergraduate and graduate studies. We are proud to have built the first and only Archimedes turbine in Croatia and we want to thank everyone who helped us on our journey.

MAIN GOALS:

Realization of small hydropower powered by Archimedes screw with its own, fully automated control system,
Acquisition of knowledge and practical skills in the field of electricity generation, fluid mechanics and plant automation,
Education of students about renewable energy sources. Transferring knowledge of mechanics, power management and hydroelectric power plants.
